Hot off the Press

Little Common have been awarded 'School of the Week' by Hastings and Rother School Games Partnership for the work we have been doing on 'personal challenges' and getting children active.  A family personal challenge will go home each week on the school newsletter. This week is... Get walking.

Children are all getting very excited in our Foundation Stage classes this week.  We have chicken eggs hatching and all the children have had the chance to see the eggs starting to crack and the new chicks as they arrive!

Thank you to all those parents who attended our Parent Forum looking at anti-bullying last term.  Please find the minutes for this meeting here.  Our next meeting will be a discussion of our Thrive Approach and will be at 2.30 pm on Wednesday 9th May.

Click here for the Year Group Newsletters with information about what the children are learning this term and some important dates.  These now include updates about what the children are covering in their online safety work.

Welcome to Little Common School

Little Common School is a large primary school, situated in Little Common village, on the outskirts of Bexhill on Sea. We can offer you and your child a vibrant and fun learning environment, where we strive to offer the best possible education for your child. We have a talented and dedicated team of staff and governors, who are committed to our school vision: Learning, Caring, Succeeding… together. We are fortunate to have extensive resources including a swimming pool, a library, an IT suite and a large playground with exciting play equipment. Our curriculum offers interesting learning opportunities and staff ensure that learning is fun and meaningful. As Headteacher at the school, I am excited about the opportunities that Little Common School can offer your child. I am totally committed to every child in our school attaining their potential through experiencing a broad range of learning opportunities which will deepen their understanding and develop their self-esteem. Together as a staff, we are constantly reviewing our practice and refining our teaching so that we can keep improving the education that we offer every child. I hope that you and your child
will join us in our exciting journey and share in the
pride we have in our successful school.
