Hot off the Press

 Message from Mrs Appleby

Once again it has been a packed week. Our football team represented us so well, showing their sporting skills and Finley F entertained Year 4 in assembly by playing the drums for us. We were amazed by his talent and dexterity!

Year 6 held a VE day party to end their World War II topic, and older members of the local community joined us for a tea and traditional entertainment. As everyone enjoyed their tea, our residents shared their memories and family stories about the war. Year 6’s excellent work was displayed and the guests enjoyed the demonstration of the Lindy Hop by our pupils.

In all events, our pupils continue to be a great advert for our school in all they do.
