TA2 Apprentice Vacancy
Little Common School have a wonderful opportunity for someone to join the support team for a one year level 2 apprenticeship. The role will begin on September 3rd 2018 and end on September 2nd 2019. Working hours are 30 per week (hence pro rata) from 8.30am - 3.20pm (1 hour for lunch). The salary is £7,138 pro rata (30 hours)
We are keen to hear from mature applicants, as well as those leaving education.
You will need to:
Be able to commit to a one year apprentice programme.
Be able to work during term time and undertake training days and portfolio work during the school holiday periods (allowing 5.6 weeks actual holiday)
Have a strong commitment to work with children and develop their learning.
Be flexible in your approach to work with children with varying needs.
Be willing to learn from professional practitioners both in the work place and through the chosen apprentice scheme provider.
Be a team player and have the ability to build your own workload around group needs, once trained to do so.
Have a good standard of English and Maths.
