Hot off the Press

Well done to all the children in Year 6 who have now completed their SATs.  You have all worked so hard and we are sure you have done your best.  Have a well-earned rest over the weekend.

This week Year 1 have held their own wedding ceremony to celebrate the Royal Wedding.  The whole school also enjoyed a fantastic wedding picnic.  We were so lucky with the weather!

We have had Egyptians walking around the school this week as Year 3 dressed up for their Egyptian day.  Parents had the chance to come in a see all the learning that has been happening around this topic.

Click here for the Year Group Newsletters with information about what the children are learning this term and some important dates.  These now include updates about what the children are covering in their online safety work.

Our curriculum offers interesting learning opportunities and staff ensure that learning is fun and meaningful. As Headteacher at the school, I am excited about the opportunities that Little Common School can offer your child. I am totally committed to every child in our school attaining their potential through experiencing a broad range of learning opportunities which will deepen their understanding and develop their self-esteem. Together as a staff, we are constantly reviewing our practice and refining our teaching so that we can keep improving the education that we offer every child. I hope that you and your child
